| The Pita Pitza Served at The Happy Badger Cafe |
Sarah Cohen, daughter of owners Donna and Alan Cohen and manager of the Happy Badger Cafe said, "My previous experience as a cook taught me the best items on the menu were the ones unique to that restaurant or chef. Here at the Cafe, we pride ourselves on creating everything from scratch. Everything from the BBQ and pizza sauce to the salad dressings and especially the soups." Cohen continued "Also, two really important ingredients-- our bread and our cheese, come from really amazing sources. Zingerman's Bakehouse of Ann Arbor is the real deal. We have the pleasure of working with them in offering their award winning breads and pastry to our clientele in Bowling Green."

| Portobello and Potato soup |
Giant sandwiches are a big hit at The Happy Badger Cafe. The Grilled Chicken sandwich, served using Halal chicken is paired with mayo, lettuce and tomato. Local chips and housemade salsa are the house side dish served with all giant sandwiches. For the mushroom lovers, the potato and portobello mushroom soup is sure to be a palate pleaser. Finally my personal favorite, the Pita Pitza is a fresh combination of grilled pita bread, housemade tomato and garlic sauce, mozzarella cheese, vegetables and parmesan cheese. For the vegetarians, the Berwyn special offers an exciting sandwich choice. Creamy layers of avocado are paired with a raw milk cheese blend, carrots, cucumber, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, bean sprouts and topped with a pinch of oregano.
